Where Have You Been?!?!?!?!?!?
Where have I been… well let’s see I have been working a lot like always. My friends help keep me sane when I am off though and I am grate full for that … I have had a few issues come into my families life and it has been a lot to think about. My uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancers last month. It is in his lungs in his liver and on his strum. He has been the major father figure in my life and I love him like a dad and I can’t even start to think about what I would have done with out him teaching the things he has. This month he has had 3 chemo treatments and all his blood work is looking good, which is a blessing. He is having a benefit for him October 28th and I work that week but I am going to try and be there as well as join in on the poker run. If anyone that reads this want to go let me know (the 2 people that I know read this … ) I am being told by my friend that I need to blog more or she will kill me so I am going to try and full fill her request. = ^ ). Many things are going on and I need to start posting just to release it I guess (so much for this being just random thoughts LOL) maybe a video or 2 and a few pictures who knows. More to come when it shows up & Thank you for reading

Working For Yourself....
when do we cross the line when it comes to working "too much". i have recently pulled over 80 hours of over time and this got me thinking... why am i not dead yet? is it cause i have an office job? maybe but i am not tired of it nay i love to keep busy and work. now don't get me wrong i LOVE the paycheck as well but i got asked by my boss the other day " if you need to take a break i can have some one else cover your shift. and as i had been covering someone else shift and i am now on the last leg of my shift, i started to ask my self why am i not burned out as it were. i mean i have friends and i could be hanging out with but why am i isolating myself to my work $$$ aside? i think i am one of the few of my generation that doesn't mind working better yet enjoy working. when i am doing something and using the skills i have learned to complete a task i feel fulfilled and like i have earned the right to wake up the next morning. and when i am not at work i find more and more stuff to do while hanging out with friends or if i go to the clubs i usually clear the table i am sitting at and "help out" helping out almost got me thrown out of a hotel ... that's a story for another day. but my nickles worth here is that kids now a days have video games and computers that they will play with all day but when it comes to work if it is not within reach or if they have to turn off their game they don't want to do it. i say the fix for the next generation is for a complete change. i remember when we use to BEG my mom to outside.. now if you get grounded you have to go outside and play. lets take away the computers in the room and the video games in the room and the TV's even and lets get back to basics. make your kids earn everything they have from the games to the computer to the "cell phone" [another rant for later] if we would all get back to those basics then maybe we can save the future.

Poison And Their Thorn
If every rose has its thorn what do we do we do when we find a rose that appears to be thorn less? do we keep our self's on guard till that thorn is reveled? do we go about as if we know nothing about said thorn and act shocked when we get pricked? this is an issue i see many people deal with as they go about daily tasks in various parts of their life. if you get surprised that something went wrong wither it be in a relationship or in work or in anything else just remember Poison sang about it and we didn't listen. i am not saying to be hard to everything in your life. we all feel and need to express emotion as we are humans. what i am suggesting is that you do not let one thing ruin your day to day . if you had a good job and lost it .. o well start looking for something better you never know what may happen. if you lost you man or your woman. remember someone better looking might come along. or someone that will love all of your flaws might come along... or hell someone with more money. :) take you interactions with people and with everything you do with a grain of salt cause life is not that serious and we all will one day not be here so have fun and make the most of your rose while you have it and if you get pricked by said thorn. put a band-aid on it and move on to the next rose. =^)

Cookies Fourtune
So tonight I ordered Chinese food for a local restaurant and i had told them that I would be grateful if they game me a few more cookies. When it had arrived the bag was closed and I couldn't smell the wonderful smell of the Lo mein like i normally do. All I smelt was fortune cookies. This was due to there being 21 cookies in my bag. O how I was overjoyed. After I enjoyed the cookies I figured it would be cool to type up and share the fortunes and wisdom that has been departed upon me by these wonderful delights.
that last one is kinda weird but it was good cookies either way =^) what was the best fortune cookie you have ever received? leave me a comment and don't forget to tell your friends :)

Think Back Monday........
Think back to JR high..... Was it a great experience for you? Remember how you thought you had it all figured out? How "love" was so easy to fall in and out of. How you were jaded towards everything that the real world was about. What was your best part about JR high? Do you still think the same way about that crush you had? What was the one thing that you were sure of and you were completely wrong about come high school or college or when did your view change about said thing? For me the best part of JR high was the growth I made before High school as far as maturity was concerned. As far as thinking the same way about my "crush" being that I lost contact and do not know how she "grew up" I would have to say no. The one thing I was sure about and no one could tell me otherwise was the career path I was going to take and it wasn’t till my JR/SR yeah in High school till I realized I was going to have to deviate from my original pubescent thoughts and ideals. Alias that is growing up. I hope you enjoy the ride down memory lane as I have. it’s not in detail but that the point it is healthy to take a mental trip sometimes to your past and tell it Hi and how much you have missed it >_< pass this on maybe everyone will have a JR high sort day .

Smile.... Just a little one?
When you meet someone for the first time... what is the first thing that goes through your mind? The way they look... the way they stand... the way they great you? For some reason 98% of the time when I meet a new person I find myself finding a way to enlighten them with laughter. This may be a weakness for me in some areas but in everyday life I think it is a great way to greet someone. Even if it is something as small as a little half grin from the person or a big belly laugh I find a way to make them smile and its unconsciously done most of the time. I think I do this in order to let the person to know I am easy to talk to and also because I like to see people I talk to smile so let’s call it a selfish gain from it. But this got me thinking about the reasons people don’t greet others with at least a smile. Maybe your day sucked. Maybe you lost your job. Maybe you just don’t like to smile. Now I do understand at times it is hard to smile but if you’re just going to work and grabbing coffee or shopping and "focused" on your list. Keep in the back of your head to smile cause if everyone starts to smile in their everyday activities and when meeting people then maybe the worst day might not be so bad either to you or someone else.

Cookies & Slips Of Paper
Don't seek wisdom in the words of others, seek the wisdom of your own words. I find that there are many ideas that you may have stored that might inspire hope and relate to others more than you will know. spend time when giving advise to others and take time to listen to yourself. seek on how it relates to others in the back of your mind. as i hand out advise, where and when it is asked for, i am always thinking " Could this end up on a plaque?" most of the time not but would it help someone else going through a similar issue. and the answer is yes. take time to remember the advise you give and if you have time write it down. you might not get a book or a slip of paper in a cookie but you might be able to pass it on and help someone else after your gone.

Through The Looking Glass and Into The Cup
Ever wonder why you see the world one way and someone sees it a totally different way? Is it because your upbringing was different or that you’re just in a different mindset from everyone else? I don’t think so. I think we see things as we want to see them at all times based on the needs and wants of ourselves at that time. Take a field of grass and weeds for example. The farmer sees it as hay to sell or feed his livestock. A Gardner might see it as an over taken chance to place the garden of their dreams. A politicians "if it is in a city area" might think of it as an eye sore and a lot can be used for "development". An artist might find it as a chance to capture nature’s way of tasking back what rightfully belongs to it. An animal might find it a refuse and a place to call home. All this is seen in the way they want because it is what is needed at that time. People see other people the same way. One might look at a person they just meet and think that they are the one for them. That they were made for one another and they should stay with each other for ever. This can be carried over to people you call friends or allies at work or even business partners. We all make connections with people that we think we need in our clouded state of fulfilling those wants and needs when really anyone would have done to fill the gap that was. Bottem line is that you can’t let what you want or need be your eyes and ears. Train yourself to keep a “true vision” of what is around you and your ears free from your own “selective hearing” keep a clear head in your day to day and think about what is truly right, wrong and indifferent for you and yourself and ensure the choices you make today are not going to fade into the night tomorrow. Remember this life doesn’t come with refills and once that cup is full you are the one that has to drink out of it.

Children. The Investment
Procreation as Webster’s defines it is: to beget or bring forth offspring. In others words have kids but what is the point behind bringing a child into this world? Well many will answer that many ways. Some say to ensure the passing of the gene pool. Others will define it as to have a tax deduction. I am going to cover the reason I think deep down we want to have kids. In my 23 years on this round thing I have found that for the most part kids bring many things into their parent’s life. These little bundles of sometimes joy bring about many feelings of fear “will my kid be able to make it in this world” “will I be able to provide for my child” “will my kid be SAFE?” then you have the feeling of joy “my child is learning how to crawl, walk, talk” “my child is in the top of his/hers class”. But the most feeling that I have seen 99% of parents exhibit no matter what happened in their life or their children’s life is LOVE and that is one of the greatest things about procreation is that for 18 years and 9 months you have invested your love and someone else’s love in to this human being that for the most part show it back 200% no matter what. The point is to go out and enjoy the love that is a child cause no one and nothing can come as close as they do to that strong of feeling.

Coffee Life, Whats in your cup?
As I sit here in the coffee house watching people go by I realize that the type of coffee you drink can say a lot about your life. Some people want their “life” to be Bold and full of flavor like the Dark roast. Some prefer it to be fast Strong and full of energy like the Espresso. Others like to choose their “life” a little sweet yet a little bold like a medium roast with sugar and cream or a Latte. Many want it chill and on ice and full of more sugar and flavor than anything else, and you have those that like to take it slow and just sit and sip at it like the decaf. When we define life this way it makes us stop and think. “Do I live like I really want to?” “Is what is in my cup really what I want?” “Am I able to live up to what I have chosen to be in my cup?” Either way the point here is this. If you live your life to your coffee choice then remember that no matter how you like your coffee make sure you have lived a Super Grande cause when that cup runs out unlike the coffee house there are no refills
