Think Back Monday........

Think back to JR high..... Was it a great experience for you? Remember how you thought you had it all figured out? How "love" was so easy to fall in and out of. How you were jaded towards everything that the real world was about. What was your best part about JR high? Do you still think the same way about that crush you had? What was the one thing that you were sure of and you were completely wrong about come high school or college or when did your view change about said thing? For me the best part of JR high was the growth I made before High school as far as maturity was concerned. As far as thinking the same way about my "crush" being that I lost contact and do not know how she "grew up" I would have to say no. The one thing I was sure about and no one could tell me otherwise was the career path I was going to take and it wasn’t till my JR/SR yeah in High school till I realized I was going to have to deviate from my original pubescent thoughts and ideals. Alias that is growing up. I hope you enjoy the ride down memory lane as I have. it’s not in detail but that the point it is healthy to take a mental trip sometimes to your past and tell it Hi and how much you have missed it >_< pass this on maybe everyone will have a JR high sort day .

Smile.... Just a little one?

When you meet someone for the first time... what is the first thing that goes through your mind? The way they look... the way they stand... the way they great you? For some reason 98% of the time when I meet a new person I find myself finding a way to enlighten them with laughter. This may be a weakness for me in some areas but in everyday life I think it is a great way to greet someone. Even if it is something as small as a little half grin from the person or a big belly laugh I find a way to make them smile and its unconsciously done most of the time. I think I do this in order to let the person to know I am easy to talk to and also because I like to see people I talk to smile so let’s call it a selfish gain from it. But this got me thinking about the reasons people don’t greet others with at least a smile. Maybe your day sucked. Maybe you lost your job. Maybe you just don’t like to smile. Now I do understand at times it is hard to smile but if you’re just going to work and grabbing coffee or shopping and "focused" on your list. Keep in the back of your head to smile cause if everyone starts to smile in their everyday activities and when meeting people then maybe the worst day might not be so bad either to you or someone else.

Cookies & Slips Of Paper

Don't seek wisdom in the words of others, seek the wisdom of your own words. I find that there are many ideas that you may have stored that might inspire hope and relate to others more than you will know. spend time when giving advise to others and take time to listen to yourself. seek on how it relates to others in the back of your mind. as i hand out advise, where and when it is asked for, i am always thinking " Could this end up on a plaque?" most of the time not but would it help someone else going through a similar issue. and the answer is yes. take time to remember the advise you give and if you have time write it down. you might not get a book or a slip of paper in a cookie but you might be able to pass it on and help someone else after your gone.
