Cookies Fourtune

So tonight I ordered Chinese food for a local restaurant and i had told them that I would be grateful if they game me a few more cookies. When it had arrived the bag was closed and I couldn't smell the wonderful smell of the Lo mein like i normally do. All I smelt was fortune cookies. This was due to there being 21 cookies in my bag. O how I was overjoyed. After I enjoyed the cookies I figured it would be cool to type up and share the fortunes and wisdom that has been departed upon me by these wonderful delights.

  8. Courtesy costs nothing.
  9. Creative energy is up - capitalize on it.
  10. Don't waste time on what might have been
  11. Affirm it, visualize it, believe it, and it will actualize itself.
  12. Do not desire what you do not need.
  13. Despair is criminal.
  14. Discipline is wisdom and vice versa.
  15. Don't ask, don't say. Everything lies in silence.
  16. Courage is the mastery of fear - not the absence of fear.
  17. Discriminating mind leads you in the proper direction.
  18. Don't get so caught up in the daily grind that you never find any time for yourself.
  19. Don't be afraid of opposition; remember, a kite rises against the wind.
  20. Do you see difficulty behind every opportunity, or opportunity behind every difficulty?
  21. Don't forget, you are always on our minds.

Cookies & Slips Of Paper

Don't seek wisdom in the words of others, seek the wisdom of your own words. I find that there are many ideas that you may have stored that might inspire hope and relate to others more than you will know. spend time when giving advise to others and take time to listen to yourself. seek on how it relates to others in the back of your mind. as i hand out advise, where and when it is asked for, i am always thinking " Could this end up on a plaque?" most of the time not but would it help someone else going through a similar issue. and the answer is yes. take time to remember the advise you give and if you have time write it down. you might not get a book or a slip of paper in a cookie but you might be able to pass it on and help someone else after your gone.
